My
thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who have lost their lives,
lost family and friends
and
suffered in the terrible acts around the United States on and after September
11, 2001.
I am
deeply saddened by the terrible loss of each and every life. The thousands
of people who died, including Barbara Olson, who was aboard the American
Airlines Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon.
This
Anthrax attack on the Postal Service also deeply troubles me. There are
two postal workers, a media company employee and a hospital worker six
feet under the ground right now due to the animals that attacked our country
with a biological weapon. When they catch the person(s) who did this I
certainly hope the US Marshals are not shielding the prisoner like Secret
Service agents guarding the president. Just put a bulls eye vest on this
thug and let a sniper do the rest.
Could
the deaths at the Postal facility been prevented. Probably. If the workers
had been tested on Friday with Congress this would have given the dead
additional days of antibiotics to help combat the illness. But you know
what they say. "Its all new to us. We've never dealt with this before."
Bull ! Prepare for this. Plan. Anthrax has been a threat for many many
years. Do we wait for the next weapon before developing a plan. NO! We
plan the "blank" ahead.
I'm
so glad our founding fathers did not come out of the same gene pool as
our USPS and CDC executives. The later came out of gene cesspools. Could
you imagine our founding fathers throwing up their hands and saying, "This
founding of a nation, its all new to us." ThankYou postal and CDC P.O.S'!
My
thanks and gratitude to all those who assisted the injured and
risked
their lives in rescue efforts and investigations around the World.
It
is especially important that the United States of America and our allies
continue to strike with absolute force against those responsible and those
countries that harbor and sponsor these terrorist.
