I originally had a reservation for the Fairfield Inn
Chantilly for Saturday to Tuesday. Confirmed at $69 per night. Friday
evening I bid $35 per night for a two star room in Dulles on
priceline.com. My bid was accepted for the Homestead Studio Suites Reston.
I immediately regretted that I was staying at this hotel. I thought that
hotel was 1.5 stars, despite that it was listed as 2 stars on the
biddingfortravel.com. Since I was locked in I ultimately decided not to
pass on that and loose the money. Before leaving for my trip I could no
longer confirm the room I wanted at the Fairfield Inn. I should cancel at
the last minute. I checked in at this hotel.
Even though the Homestead Reston is by no means a
perfect place to stay. Limited Cable. Fair housekeeping preparation of
room. What looks like dead dust mites on the floor of the kitchen. A
refrigerator door that sticks. I did enjoy my stay.
