I arrived on location the late morning of February 15, 2002 at the start of a nice weekend snow storm. Two storm fronts will dump about 24 inches of snow on the Washington, D.C. area between Saturday and Tuesday. I will be staying at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Chantilly/Dulles from 2/15 to 2/19. The rate is $49.00 plus tax.

Air France customers stuck at the airport. Signs may say Korean Air but they are going to Paris. Notice the line rope marked' Air France'.

Preparing to check out of the TownePlace Suites 2-19-3. I am leaving because the rate if going up $50 to $99 per night. I was staying on a night by night basis and I am no longer eligible for the weekend rate. They were nice enough to give me the weekend rate of $49 for Tuesday night because of the snow.

Moved into the Summerfield Suites - Herndon for one night. I got the room through Hotwire for about $60. This room would have cost me $140 by calling the hotel reservation line.
Rented the video Entrapment at the Herndon Blockbuster. Watched it in the suite at the Summerfield Suites. I really like this movie.
