The Washington Dulles Airport Marriott is located on the premises of the Dulles Airport. This hotel provides luxuriously appointed Marriott quality rooms. The rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms have premium toiletries. 

The hotel is within a couple minutes of the Airport Terminal. Closer than the long term parking. Herndon, Virginia is five to ten minutes away. Chantilly, Virginia about ten minutes.

There is a special room rate that includes up to two weeks parking. This could save you some money when you factor the total cost and the ability to stay overnight near the airport. Two weeks parking at Dulles cost a minimum of $98.00 ($7.00 * 14) for 14 days.
A restaurant and bar are on location. While the bar service was not so hot the one night I had a few drinks and a late night snack, I like to think the poor service was an anomaly. It seemed the "clown" was filling in for the regular bartender and not too happy about that. Front desk, housekeeping and concierge service have always been excellent at this property. For some reason Marriott bartenders seem to have been cut from a different cloth than the other employees. I not saying they're all poor. Most are very good. It just seems they have a different attitude than the employees in the other hotel departments.
2000 September, 22 to 2000 September 25 --- Paid $69.00, the best rate in the area for a concierge floor room. While the lounge was closed Friday PM through Sunday AM, I had an upgraded room all weekend and access to the lounge Sunday night for hor dourves and drinks and Monday for breakfast. Room 3230.
