The Marriott Suites is an all suite hotel adjacent to the Worldgate Shopping Center in Herndon, Virginia. This is a true hotel suite with a separate bedroom, dressing area, large closet, sitting area, wet bar and small refrigerator. There is also a desk, high speed internet service (fee), Web TV (if its working), coffee pot and in room movies (fee).

The Worldgate Centre provides many shops, fine restaurants, 9 theater cinema, health club, and both personal and business services. All within a few minutes walk of your suite (door to door).

The Marriott Suites Washington Dulles is conveniently located within the Dulles Corridor. It is only minutes from Reston, Sterling, Chantilly and Dulles, Virginia.

The weekend rate for a king room is about $69.00. For reservations and more information please visit the hotels official site. In order to get a weekend rate for Thursday you must stay over Friday. In order to get a weekend rate for Sunday you must stay over Saturday. Subject to availability.

I had a problem with maintenance that caused me to feel less about this property. See my trip report of 2002 April 13 to 15 for and explanation of the problem. While this property has changed over the years I look forward to returning to this hotel in the near future.

For my money, if looking for a suite to stay at during the week, try the TownePlace Suites in Chantilly or Dulles. Or book Hotwire.Com and save even more. When booking Hotwire.Com I recommend calling the property reserved and advising them you have a same day reservation (if so booked). I will post my reasons shortly.

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into ten vending machines on various floors of the hotel by drilling lock mechanisms. The suspects removed approximately $1,000.00 cash, and caused approximately $150.00 damage. Investigation continuing. "
