Located in the center of Herndon, Virginia the 3 floor Courtyard by Marriott - Herndon/Reston provides all travelers with a large guest room, sofa and table, work desk, in room coffee, iron and board, hair dryer. High speed internet access is available. A pool, whirlpool, and exercise room are on location. This property is a few minutes drive from the Reston Town Center, Worldgate Center and many other shopping centers which have shops, fine shops, restaurants, fine restaurants, and movie theatres. The Washington Dulles International Airport is about five miles away. This hotel provides a free airport shuttle.

Some rooms have coffee makers with little packs for fresh brewed coffee in room. The other rooms have a special Hot faucet and instant coffee packets. Free coffee is available in the lobby.

Beer may be purchased in the lobby gift shop at reasonable hotel prices for enjoyment in the room. They have Heineken.

For the leisure traveler good rates can be had over the weekend. Thursday and Sunday rates are good when combined with a weekend night (i.e.. Thursday and Friday or Saturday and Sunday.) Please call for the latest rates. Generally they are in the area of $59.00 to $74.00 for weekend. During the week travelers can expect to pay around $144.00. The regular corporate rate.

3/22/2002-- A recent check of the rates, on Marriott.com showed a Sunday to Monday stay at $144.00 for one night. Where a stay Saturday to Sunday and Sunday to Monday was $59.00 per night for a total of $118.00. You save money by arriving a day earlier.

Let me start by saying that this nice hotel was a lot nicer when I stayed here and didn't make any local calls. They charge you 50 cents per call! With all of the hotels that provide free local calls you would think a hotel for business travelers would include certain services.
