Lloyd Bonified - Korean War Veteran who served in the Navy on the USS Princeton. I love "regular" Lloyd. There is a Lloyd Bonified who is a resident of the Joyful Union Retirement Home who occasionally sneaks out to use the phone and call Phil. At the end of the call Miss Clara Bingham will interrupt him and have to punish him. "Ouch! It hurts good."

A: The Phil Hendrie Show is a talk show like no other. "Controversial" guest call in and talk with Phil about their take on society and their dealings with other people. Some of these people may make you angry at first. I know when I first listened to his show in 2000 I used to get angry at some of his guest. So angry I could not listen to the show. Once I started to understand his guest I was hooked. No I can't help but laugh at how crazy some of these individuals are. I say that with the utmost of respect for all of them.

PHIL'S FORMER BLOG

Once had a blog called georgewbushisgod.com. No need to explain the topic. On 9/26/5 announced he was no longer writing the blog. Main reason: He is working in Hollywood and did not need the crap associated with that topic. Arguing in green room with liberal actors. Potential blacklisting. He lost both balls. His job is an entertainer. etc. etc.

Since his show got picked up I sort of understand. But it was nice when he wasn't afraid to push the envelope. Even in Hollywood.

(Right now, 7:47 p.m. Saturday, 5/1/2004 I want to hit the shower and get out and eat some Japanese from the Jannie restaurant in Warminster. I need to stop typing and get my as.......I made it to dinner and then saw Mean Girls at the 175 Nickelodeon. Now, 8:10 a.m., Monday, 5/3/2004 I want to go to breakfast at McDonalds.)

NBC goes back to school
Variety Magazine, By Michael Schneider. Tuesday, Sep. 13, 2005.

NBC has added another laffer to its midseason roster, ordering six episodes of the skein "Filmore Middle."

Sitcom stars Justin Bartha ("National Treasure") as Jeff, a rule-breaking English teacher at a New Jersey school. NBC Universal TV Studio is behind the show, which comes from exec producer Matt Tarses.

"Filmore Middle" also stars Sarah Alexander (BBC's "Coupling") as a rookie teacher and potential love interest for Bartha's character. Radio host Phil Hendrie plays a burned-out teacher, while Deon Richmond ("Van Wilder") stars as a drama teacher and Jeff's best friend.

Series also stars Matt Winston, Kali Rocha and Grant Rosenmeyer.

Series joins Peacock's other midseason half-hours waiting in the wings, including the return of critical fave "Scrubs" as well as newbies "Thick and Thin" and "Four Kings."
