Notes from Planet Fitness

Been going to Planet Fitness in Langhorne/Levittown since I signed up on October 3, 2010 - 6 Days a week.

I do cardio and resistance training. On Friday I do upper body only. On Saturday I rest.

I am now, November 1, 2010, up to 35 minutes on the elliptical. Level 1 (5 minutes each, start and finish). to Level 2 (15 min. total) and Level 3 (10 minutes).

October 2011

Sunday 16th did 110 minutes of cardio

Monday 17th 69 minutes plus

February 8, 2011

First time on Cybex Arc 620A did 10 minutes. Tough! (But great machine - yesterday, 2/27/2011 did 25 minutes on it - great workout!.)

Got into Planet Fitness at 715am, I know they opened at 7am and you arrive at 715...where's your dedication?

Anyway... got onto the Cybex Arc trainer for 60 minutes of 'Strength Training' Cardio. This setting kicks my tail.

Pushed myself during the last 20 minutes as I notice my heart rate dropping after I paused to pick up my second water bottle at the 30 minute mark.

My only complaint - 1 water bottle holder while the elliptical and some bikes are manufactured with 2.

  I didn't have a single slice of pizza   I put my foot in mouth in conversation with a nice 80 year old man, I apologize again sir. People of all fitness levels working out. I hope those who are larger reach their goals. Hope all reach goals.        
        Go to walk around at the end. Look at the beautiful women and 'Mr. Jones', Counting Crows is on the radio.        

 

Funny, The Planet Fitness is located near a Wendy's that I dined at a few times.

Last visit July 17, 2009. See that drive-thru every time I visit.

Gene, the 80 year old man is now an 81 year old man, September 2011. T-1000 guy, He looks fit, very fit. Not muscle bound fit. Tour De France Fit. Noticed this couple of weeks ago.

Saw him nude (side view) today, October 31, 2011.
