Gas Prices in My Life
| In my life I regularly purchase gas in two
locations. The Shell Station off of I-95 on a busy business highway and if
necessary a Sunoco Station around the corner from my work in a small
borough. As the Shell station is in a high traffic area near the interstate and the Sunoco is in a high value area, the price of gas is usually about 15 to 20 cents higher at the Sunoco. For the life of me I can't see why the price of gas has to be different, all other things being equal from two gas stations 6 miles apart. I know about market pricing and I think it's B.S. |
Out of regular, charging same price for plus. That's nice of them. I didn't buy as I don't want to put higher octane in car. As I was leaving, after buying soda and using toilet I noticed gar truck leaving. Filled up with regular unleaded at $2.299 a gallon Wednesday 11-09-2005 9:51 p.m. |

I drive by Gulf everyday to work. It is usually the same as Sunoco, go figure. |
