These are my documented visits to P.F. Chang's China Bistro. A fantastic restaurant serving delicious Chinese food and adult beverages in a beautiful atmosphere.

In addition to tables there is a beautiful bar where on can sit and have the same full menu and delicious drinks.

I first heard about P.F. Chang's when flying to Las Vegas. An article in a magazine in the seat back on the airplane reviewed the restaurant and recommended, among other dishes, the Dan Dan Noodles. During that visit to Las Vegas I ate there twice. I have been to other P.F.'s in Virginia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I have had a great experience each time.

I recommend the 'Sichaun Mary'. A wonderful bloody mary. Please Drink Responsibly. Please Do as I say not as I do*.

Based on a solicited recommendation from the bartender during my 5/10/2004 visit I am going to try the "Hot Fish" during my next visit. (Subject to my being in "the mood" for this kind of entree.)

Until that time, I am limited to when I am in the area of one, subject to other considerations.

2 Sichuan Mary's - No Celery for drink!

(Better than a Bloody Mary)

Seared Ahhi Tuna

Cantenose Chow Fun - Chicken

- The seared Ahi Tuna taste good on it's own. I don't care for the peanut oil topping they use on this.

They had no celery for the Bloody Mary's. I guess they had no delivery of fruits and vegetable because it's Christmas and the delivery man had to be with his family.

Chow Fun and the thick noodles is mediocre at best. Food was fresh and prepared correctly. I just don't like it.

I enjoyed myself despite the problems above. Two drinks in me and good atmosphere and I'm set. Plus I checked two things off on the menu that I won't have to order ever again. When I go back, I'll order my favorite dishes and have a great visit.

Ladies at end of bar got entrees before they got soup.

Couple next to me had an additional entree incorrectly ordered. Do you think it was taken off their bill right away? No. They had to point it out to waiter.

Waited on by Jean, the bartender. Good service. OK food and good drink.

Dumplings and Calamari as a late night snack, 9 hours later - Kept in a cooler under ice while I watched 'The Island' at the AMC Painters Crossing.

Food kept as no squirts the next day. (Nice touch to a restaurant fan page).

I believe I first heard about P.F. Chang's while flying out to Las Vegas on National Airlines. Their in-flight magazine had a review or article about P.F.'s and the quality of the dining experience. They mentioned the wonderful Dan Dan Noodles and Lettuce Wraps. I tried the restaurant and have enjoyed them ever since.

David G. Hall once mentioned that executives were dining at P.F. Chang's when they heard that someone was bad mouthing Steven Spielberg.

Phil Hendrie mentioned that he visits the P.F. Chang's in Woodland Hills, CA.
