Heading from home to northern Maine

| The second stop I may make when heading from home to northern Maine is in South Portland, Maine. The exit I take has all of the businesses and services one would need. There is gas, hotels, food, shopping (Including Best Buy). If I arrive in Maine late at night I may bypass this city altogether and continue on to Bangor. I may also stop here when heading downeast. Or stop here overnight and stay at the Fairfield Inn or TownePlace Suites in Scarborough, Maine. |
1/17/2002 Imperial China Chinese Restaurant and a clothing store located with easy access to I-95, the Maine Turnpike. There is also access to I-295. I have yet to use that highway to travel through South Portland. These are only two of the three businesses I used at the this area. As I said before there are hundreds of businesses in this area. |

1/17/2002 Citgo gas and convenience store located at the intersection of Western Ave. and Payne Rd. in South Portland. Minutes from I-95 with easy access. Although with a toll to get back on I-95 I would not get off here just for gas. |

1/17/2002 Got gas at the pump on the left. Vehicle front was facing the camera and The Maine Mall. This is the closest island to the store entrance. |
