| With four days off from work over the Veterans Day holiday I decided
on a whim to go to Lake Placid, NY. I was looking for a place to go where
it was nice and cold with a good chance of snow. My first visit to Lake
Placid was great! This area has so much winter sport activity. From Alpine
Skiing to the Zamboni machine. Every
type of Skiing, Luge, Bobsled, Skeleton, Ice Hockey, Skating, Ski jumps,
Moguls, Olympic training facilities. I can't wait to return in the winter
when the snow is piled on the ground, the lakes are frozen and the mountains
are fully open. |
