Hank passed away early this morning. He was a great friend and "brother". I love this guy so much.

He enjoyed his 'Meaty Bone', 'Beggin' Strips', 'Bonz', and 'Milk Bones'.
He really loved those Beggin' Strips. "Dogs Don't Know it's not Bacon!®".
While he would not eat any other treat during his last day, he gladly accepted a Beggin' Strip treat.

He also really loved the fried Won ton from the Golden China Restaurant.

He enjoyed unsupervised walks outside. He would roam the neighborhood
and woods meeting with other dogs and friends.

He appeared to really enjoy smelling the grass and then rolling in the grass and what ever else was in it.

When the attic stairs were lowered from the ceiling he would hear the big springs and come up to go into the attic to search for the birds and squirrels who made a home up there, entering through the vents.

Like most all dogs he loved ridding in the car with his head out of the window.
Climbing up on the arm rest and getting the rush of air in his face. (Our last road trip
was Sunday 8/5/01 to the Cumberland Farms and Dominick's Pizza.)

Boy would he bark at those passing bike and motorcycle riders while sitting on the lawn.

He is survived by me, J.M., A.M., L.M., and S.M. who along with ---

The mailman "Twang", Doris, his Vet, his Groomer, Molly, George, the next door neighbors
(R.F., B.F., N.F., and K.H.) and many many others will surely miss ---

My Best Friend, HANK!

He was a completely different dog when his
hair would grow in.

Waiting to get back inside after a walk.

I have this big air filter outside my bedroom. I could always tell when he would be coming into the room as the sound
of the filter would be muffled by him walking in front of it. Just a moment ago I thought I heard the sound of his
dog tags jingling in the other room as if he was walking around. I understand it could have been and was any
number of things, but it made me turn my head.

It's been over 4 years since you passed and I still miss you. I came across your web page today as someone's web search brought them to your page. I noticed this looking at my web log. It was nice to look at you again.

It by no means requires a log search to think of you or occasionally look at your pictures.

So much has changed in my life since you passed, but not my love for you as a friend and "brother". These past four years have not been the same without you. Life goes on. Yes. But it goes on with a big piece missing. The big piece is you.

Miss you so much, Hank.

I'll always love you.

Thank You for being a wonderful part of my life.
