Cape Cod, Massachusetts refers to the section of Massachusetts
which extends into Nantucket Sound and the Atlantic Ocean like an arm being
flexed to show the bicep muscle.

Sagemore Bridge in Bourne, MA
I consider the start of Cape Cod to be where you cross
over the Cape Cod Canal on either the Bourne Bridge or Sagemore Bridge.
This entire area of Cape Cod is in Barnstable County,
MA.
From the Sagemore Bridge to the tip of the cape in Provincetown,
MA is about a 64.5 mile - 1 hour 16 minute 33 second drive. (Plus or minus.)

When I head to "the Cape of Cod" I like to rest and relax
in Hyannis, MA - a section of Barnstable Township and West Yarmouth, MA
- a section of Yarmouth, MA.
I hit the beaches in the West Yarmouth - Bayview Beach
and the great beach in Eastham, MA - Coast Guard Beach.
